The company deliver a number of management masterclasses which provide toolkits for managers. Look Ahead is an accredited Chartered Management Institute Centre enabling staff attending its core management programs to attain CMI Certificate, Diploma and Executive Diploma qualifications. Their award winning management programmes are tailored to deliver personal competence growth in pursuit of measured continuous performance improvement.

Look Ahead provides a subsidised healthcare benefit, free to all staff through Healthshield’s Look Ahead’s health care scheme. A confidential helpline is available within this scheme with first Assist. Look Ahead also proves AXA PPP PMI at a discounted corporate rate. Staff may include within their package a biennial health screen with Nuffield. Look Ahead provides trauma counselling to staff who may have been exposed to highly stressful customer situations. Articles are regularly posted on their intranet to support/provide advice on employees’ wellbeing and deliver initiatives on healthy living. Look Ahead employs its own Health & Wellbeing Coordinator who provides healthy living & exercise advice to their staff, including individual consultation and drafting of individual health, wellbeing and fitness programmes.

The company hold a recognition scheme that includes an additional ‘corporate category’ which focuses staff on a particular business arising in the quarter. Supercheque Awards are redeemable in retail outlets or for a leisure experience. Staff nominations were judged by a panel of senior managers. Winners were invited to their quarterly ‘Staff Achievers Lunch’ and formally presented with Recognition Award Certificates and Supercheques by an executive director. The company also hold quarterly ‘staff achiever lunches’ to recognise hard work, dedication and achievements of their staff champions of the arts, equality & diversity, environment and health & safety, as well as high performers based on staffs appraisal ratings, and employees/teams who work in services that have been externally assessed by their commissioners as high performing.
