About Lookers

Lookers offer a wide range of quality and prestige new and used cars alongside tailored after-sales and Motability services. Their divisions comprise automotive, agricultural and leasing.

Lookers have grown from humble beginnings as a bicycle retailer founded in 1908, to a high-performing business with a diverse commercial portfolio.

Today, the Manchester-based firm represents more than 30 leading car manufacturers across more than 160 dealerships, employing 9,000 people. They supply upwards of 200,000 vehicles annually throughout the UK and Ireland.

Chief Executive Officer Andy Bruce was recently named the 12th-highest-rated Chief Executive Officer in the UK by recruitment company Glassdoor - ahead of Facebook Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg.

The firm’s goal is to be recognised as providing the best customer experience in the UK retail motor sector.

The business is underpinned by a customer service-led philosophy that is delivered through an industry-leading experience. This is embodied in the ethos ‘For You, For Life’.

What is it like to work for Lookers

Andy is very approachable, he can be emailed directly and people can expect a prompt response. An "Ask Andy" email address has been set up which allows people to direct any questions or thoughts to the Chief Executive Officer. He’s often seen in-branch, talking to team members about improvements.
