About Loreburn Housing Association

Since 1982, Loreburn Housing Association have provided affordable housing to those in need. The organisation provides general needs, elderly amenity and supported accommodation to the most vulnerable people in society.

Loreburn have grown to owning and managing over 2,500 homes across Dumfries & Galloway, with many developments in the rural communities of the region.

Working from two sites, staff look to embody their values of GREAT - Go getter, respect, entrepreneurial, accountable and together.

In their quest to provide a positive working environment for staff, Loreburn place a key focus on the health and wellbeing of their staff, which includes a daily walking lunch group to encourage people to get away from their desks for a break.

Since taking up the role of Chief Executive in 2015, Lorraine Usher has created a new vision, mission and strategic objectives for the organisation. She has made herself available to all colleagues through an open-door policy and the implementation of a stop, start, continue survey for staff.
