MBDA is a large multinational matrix organisation, so good communication is vital to ensure that they are able deliver to their customers, but also able to continue to share ideas and innovate. They have a number of team interaction and communications initiatives which happen both at company level and local level.
To formalise better communication across the organisation they have implemented 'Connect Groups' bringing together employees from different areas of the business as a community to share knowledge and ideas with the overall aim to solidify their team spirit and engagement.
The company’s sprawling Stevenage headquarters are on the same site as its antecedent British Aerospace Dynamics, which merged with French and Italian counterparts in 2001 to form MBDA.
