Founded in 1973 and based just outside Manchester, the firm is run by Managing Director James McGoff, who sits alongside three other McGoffs on the board in a family business.

The firm offers a holistic service, with site-identification and acquisition, architectural design, construction, interior-design and facilities-management services tailored to each client.

There’s a people focus at McGoff Construction that’s seen the firm win Investors In People Gold and a ‘Highly Commended’ for Recruitment Team of the Year 2017 at Construction’s ‘Investing in Talent’ awards.

The company’s integrated management system is accredited by ISO 9001 - Quality, ISO 14001 - Environmental and OHSAS 18001 - Health & Safety. The company’s government-endorsed KPI tool allows them to monitor business aspects and impacts by benchmarking company performance against regional and national indicators.
