There are quarterly company update meetings that take place off site for all employees. All managers also work alongside their teams in an open plan office and the directors have an open door policy. As an organisation they actively support various local community groups and charities and see this as a core responsibility as a major employer in East Anglia. They recycle and reuse where possible, including paper, plastic cups from vending machines and batteries. Their printed marketing material is produced on recycled paper or paper from well-managed forests and other controlled sources. They also operate a cycle to work scheme, encourage car sharing and actively recruit from within the local communities in South Norfolk. They also help protect the local community and on an on-going basis they support the local Town Council, schools, community groups, charities and sports clubs.

Employees are recognised for their contributions. They have a quarterly WOW award which recognises those employees that have gone the extra mile. There is a prize of £300 for the winner. They also recognise employees who have successfully taken training courses and exams in the quarterly newsletter. Loyalty and commitment is also recognised and a letter of congratulations and a badge is awarded to employees at five and ten year service intervals. In addition, they also recognise service at fifteen, twenty and twenty five year intervals and award an appropriate gift to the individual.
