They provide a case for promotions and use their discretion to award spot bonuses or gifts such as spa days and restaurant vouchers. Within teams monthly nominations are made by peers in recognition of positive contributions and the strongest performance each month is awarded champagne and vouchers. Millward Brown’s 'Impact' training programme starts at school leaver 'Account Assistant' level and runs right the way through to Senior, Board level management. Linked to their brand ideal of creating meaningful impact for their clients, each other and our community, Millward Brown believes this is very much at the heart of what they do as a business. The training works end to end, starting at the most junior levels by exciting and engaging them with the importance of design principles and the impact created by their work in producing client deliverables. As employees progress and get more involved in client workshops and presentations, the programme shifts its emphasis away from the end deliverables onto the impact created by the individual and the relationships they build with their clients, allowing them to be the best they can be. The company believe this programme demonstrates the company's commitment to employee development because it is relevant and available to all employees at all levels.

This has to be Star Factor – Millward Brown’s annual New Year’s party for all employees. Bringing together the company’s London and Warwick offices, it’s a really fun way to get everybody together in one place to catch-up socially and celebrate the beginning of the year. Music is provided by the company’s very own Millward Brown band, ‘The Occasionals,’. In true X Factor style, employees have the chance to become stars for the evening by singing a song of their choice from the same stage which has seen headline acts including, The Kooks, The Vaccines, KT Tunstall and Primal Scream. Using their own live mobile voting system, all the performers are voted for by their peers, and the person with the most votes wins tickets to the BRITs/Mercury Music Awards. The event has become something which is highly anticipated each year. What makes it special is that all the planning, entertainment and performers on the day comes from within.
