About Minivator Group Ltd

What is it like to work for Minivator Group Ltd

Leadership
Leadership
The leaders and senior management ensure that they interact very openly with employees. All senior managers’ work in open plan offices and the Leader operates an open door policy, as do the other directors and senior management team. There are quarterly sales symposiums for the sales team and monthly tool box talks for all of the engineers and apprentices. The Leader also hosts birthday lunches every quarter for those whose birthday fell within the previous three months, which creates an opportunity to communicate with him directly in a small group.
Wellbeing
Wellbeing
Employee’s well being is addressed through various ways. Hours worked are reviewed by the human resources department through overtime submissions and excessive hours are flagged to the relevant manager or supervisor to ensure that the work/life balance is being met. If additional hours are worked, time in lieu is offered where possible, rather than being paid overtimes. Families are made to feel very welcome and are invited to such events as the annual dinner dance Black Country Museum event.
Giving Something Back
Giving Something Back
Minivator is fully supportive of its employee’s commitment to charity and aims where possible to match funds raised. For example, in support of Children In Need, they matched what was raised through a book, DVD and CD sale. As an organisation, they try to recycle and reuse wherever possible, recycling paper, cardboard and metals for example.
