About Mishcon de Reya

Mishcon de Reya is a law firm with offices in London and New York offering a diverse range of legal services for businesses and individuals in the UK and globally.

Founded by Victor Mishcon in a one-room office in Brixton in the mid 1930's, they now employ more than 800 people, with over 350 lawyers.

The firm consists of six fee-earning departments: corporate, dispute resolution, employment, family, private client and real estate; and five non fee-earning departments: accounts, business development, human resources, knowledge services and information technology.

As a firm, Mishcon de Reya have always embedded their core values into their people strategy and the business planning process. These core values are expressed in how they carry out their business on a day to day basis, both internally and externally through Mq2, their internal quality assurance standard.

Mq2 encompasses practice management, knowledge management and care, and highlights the importance of taking responsibility, engaging actively and delivering solutions.

The Academy, their dedicated in-house place of learning, plays a role in communicating and embedding the core values throughout all areas of learning. This starts at onboarding and educating new joiners through handouts and 'Welcome to Mishcon' sessions with key firm leaders and continues through Mq2 training, wellbeing and diversity related training and events and management skills programmes.
