About Mishcon de Reya

Based in London with offices in New York, Mishcon de Reya is an independent law firm tackling on cross-border, multi-jurisdictional and complex cases.

Victor Mishcon formed Mishcon and Co. in 1937 and the company became Mishcon de Reya in 1988 when it merged with Bartletts de Reya.

Today, the firm employs more than 800 people including 500 lawyers under Managing Partner Kevin Gold. In March 2017, the practice won Law Firm of the Year at the Legal Business Awards, following annual revenues reaching £149.4m.

The company has always marched to its own beat and, in 2008, it launched the specialist 'Pink Law' Legal Advice Centre in conjunction with Queen Mary, University of London and two other firms.

The project offers free and impartial legal advice on issues affecting the LGBT community, such as employment discrimination, civil partnerships and cohabitation.

Strong personal connections with clients have resulted in the tagline, ‘It’s business. But it’s personal’.
