About Motorpoint

Motorpoint are the UK's leading car supermarket with 12 branches across England, Scotland and Wales and more than 7,000 low-mileage nearly-new cars on offer.

Motorpoint were co-founded in 1998 by David Shelton, a Director of the company, with the opening of the group's first retail site in Derby. The mission was to offer customers the lowest prices on a huge range of vehicles.

The aim today is the same and the firm price-checks daily. A huge selection of new and nearly-new cars come from 30 manufacturers and every car is under three years old with fewer than 25,000 miles and the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Motorpoint have car dealerships in Birmingham, Birtley, Burnley, Castleford, Chingford, Derby, Glasgow, Newport, Oldbury, Peterborough, Sheffield and Widnes. Chief Executive Officer Mark Carpenter heads up a workforce of 600.

There’s competitive car finance and part-exchange, and buyers can buy and drive cars home in a single visit.
