Multiply have set up heavily discounted access to the highly popular Vitality Wellbeing Scheme. As well as promoting the physical aspect this also offers mental wellbeing techniques, health checks and relaxation initiatives. 2013 was Multiply's 10th anniversary and to celebrate this they took all their employees away for an overnight stay at Aberfeldy. The theme was a pagan ritual ceremony and each employee had a specially chosen, bespoke outfit waiting for them in their room on arrival. Their team from London flew up to join this too and the whole company had a fantastic evening of entertainment and celebration. This event took several months to plan and was packed with unique and personal touches. All costs were fully covered by Multiply and the event was a fantastic success. They have various other team building events including a yearly Company Update BBQ in the summer which brings the whole agency together in either London or Edinburgh. They have also recently installed their own bespoke bar in the basement, and they have ‘down time Friday’ to encourage everyone to get together for a Friday refreshment.

Multiply have always championed initiatives that allow them to listen to what their staff have to say. There is of course their quarterly ‘Multiply Mouthpiece’, which follows a more structure way of listening to what’s on the minds of Multipliers. However, without doubt, one of the most successful platforms they also use is ‘Friday Down Time.’ A very simple concept that does what it says on the tin, it is held each Friday and is a relaxed and informal way to get everyone together at the end of the week and hear the good, the bad and the ugly of the working week. You grab a beer (or a juice!), join the crowd and the conversation. It allows them to keep a pulse check on what’s happening or what’s on people’s minds in the hope that they can always be proactive if there are any significant issues and also cultivate any great ideas early on! These sessions are always really engaging and usually turn into a lot of fun!
