About NAViGO Health & Social Care CIC

Offering a range of mental health services including acute patient and community facilities, NAViGO also provide specialist support including; systemic family therapy; access, crisis and liaison psychiatry; older persons in-patient services; rehabilitation and recovery; personality disorder service and an outstanding specialist eating disorder facility.

NAViGO are different because they know working with the same methods doesn't work forever; and they will continue to challenge the way they do things to create the best services that are centred on the people who use them.

In recognition of a diverse workforce, NAViGO have found that a single non-contractual reward does not necessarily appeal to every member of staff, they have a range of activities to tie into their overall reward strategy, focusing on supporting corporate events with local workplace thank you's. In 2019 NAViGO participated in #mugged, a small thank you to colleagues of a mug filled with sweets and goodies. Rather than a traditional Christmas Hamper, staff have a choice of hamper from 5 local independent suppliers including a butcher, a fish monger, a deli, and more.

There are twice yearly recognition and awards for staff and teams: their autumn AGM and an annual awards ceremony where they present a number of team and individual awards to staff, volunteers and carers. During the festive season they hold an organisational competition for the best decorated office where the CEO and Chair will rate the best office/ workspace and give a prize.
