About Newham College of Further Education

IT ISN'T ONLY the students who learn at Newham College of Further Education — teachers and support staff say the job is good for their personal growth, too, which earns the college a top 35 ranking position among all 75 public sector organisations in this list. The college gives employees 35 hours of training a year, at a cost of about £600 each. Subjects range from office skills and time management to challenging behaviour and diversity.

The 553-strong workforce says training is of great benefit (66%, ranking sixth among mid-sized bodies).
