Just over a year ago, Nielsen introduced a coaching programme to provide high performers with coaching support and to encourage a coaching culture. There are now 19 coaches, with 65 coaching relationships and more than 570 hours of coaching completed.
The company has an employee-led group called Energise, which promotes health and wellbeing across the organisation. The group shares healthy recipes and organises events such as golf days, weekly yoga sessions, running clubs and fitness classes.

For the last seven years, Nielsen have held an annual company-wide day of volunteering: Nielsen Global Impact Day (NGID). All Nielsen associates are invited to spend the day volunteering in their local community, with either hands-on or skills-based volunteering.
