About Onefile Ltd

Onefile is more than a software company. They give people the tools to shape their own future, reach their potential and be the best they can be. They believe that when people have the tools to learn in a way that suits them and apply their knowledge in the workplace, learning is more engaging. That's why OneFile was created, to give people the tools to learn, no matter where they are from or where they are going.

Their story started 20 years ago when husband and wife duo Chris and Susanna started a business from their Manchester home. Between them they identified huge inefficiencies in the vocational training sector and decided to work together to build a solution. From this, they launched the first pilot eportfolio designed for training and assessment.

A lot has changed since then, they now employ over 70 people and are a leader in the educational software sector.

They are a family of like-minded, hard-working people who work together to build outstanding software, learn from each other, and make a difference in people's lives.

OneFile have started to promote health eating, reducing high sugar treats from team events and offering healthy alternatives. They give employees time off to attend a local yoga class on Wednesday mornings and are about to launch walking meetings in Spring 2020.

OneFile provide tablets and laptops instead of giving staff notebooks and paper. Any paper they do have to print is efficiently recycled. They also have recycling bins throughout the office for any household waste.
