My Manager
My Manager
The company are  dedicated to finding the right people to mentor their  managers in the skills they want to build on. They set their own PDP and get board buy in on developmental objectives they’re working on, ensuring the business is fully engaged with their development. The company upskill managers not only in their people development skills, but they give them challenging new projects every quarter to ensure their core skill sets are still developing. The  Logistics Manager has run our R and D and launch a new product line, enabling him to work across all elements of the business. Training programs and off site training for all management in topics they highlight as areas are offered frequently - these have covered areas such as hiring, people development and objective setting and are run by both internal and external facilitators.
Personal Growth
Personal Growth
The company has taken  two intern level employees and through shadow mentoring and peer development up skilling them in 12 months to positions of Online Marketing Manager and Developer. Ensuring that both have detailed career progression paths and have learnt sector specific skills to an extremely high level.  The company has provided external training for two employees from Customer Service in full roasting processes to run our roaster and coffee production - providing them with unique skill sets and highly sought after careers with scope to begin sourcing our coffee direct from farmers abroad. Mentoring both internally and externally, the CEO has a coach and the company has actively found and engaged mentors for other members of staff in the business. This is important development for those in the management team who haven't held high level roles before but are incredibly talented and are being up skilled and coached in how to lead teams.
