Aside from the general professional qualifications that companies support staff with, for example accountancy exams in ACCA and CIMA, PANDORA has also sponsored a member of staff to complete a master’s degree in Organisational Psychology. The business has supported her with her research projects and conducting research interviews within the organisation. The Graphic Design team has also been going to exhibitions and galleries that aren't necessarily or directly relevant to their work, but has served to help inspire them and appreciate different techniques and talent in their field. It has also served as quality team time together outside of the work environment. An employee was even supported by the business whilst training for a Personal Training qualification and PANDORA intend to use her skills for their wellbeing programmes.

By using animals to represent the PANDORA values, the company provide employees with something tangible to help demonstrate them. They have a figurine called Winnpier who is an amalgamation of all three values: the strong legs and tail from the lion, the large heart and long neck from the giraffe and the wings from the bumble bee. Winniper represents PANDORA’s values and the behaviours that they require all their employees to demonstrate. The company launched their values called ‘PANDORA Life’ in 2011 through large events within each region of PANDORA. Employees were taken out of the office to a beautiful location where the history of the company and the relevance and importance of its values were explained. PANDORA award prizes to employees for demonstrating the PANDORA Life values in their daily work and also at company events and parties. The values also have been incorporated into the company’s Personal Development Reviews and employees must think about how they relate to their particular position. Objectives are then set incorporating the values.

PANDORA UK organises meaningful and luxurious trips abroad as a unique and effective way to reward its employees. Trips have included taking top performing Managers to Thailand to see the factory and how the product is made. Another example is when employees were taken to Murano in Italy to see where the glass for PANDORA’s charms is sourced, as well as to various regions around the ‘Western Europe’ territory. These trips aim to reward employees by letting them stay in luxury surroundings, to try new experiences such as wine tasting and perfume distillery amongst other team building activities and to also educate them about the brand, PANDORA’s heritage and their product.
