About PCTI Solutions Limited

PCTI Solutions provide software solutions to digitise the transfer of care between and within healthcare providers, supporting over 200,000 healthcare professionals, 6,000 GP practices and 125 NHS Trusts.

The Castleford, West Yorkshire, company has been an expert in healthcare electronic document-management since 1993.

Back then, they introduced scanning letters electronically for general practices and developed the solution to include document workflow and optical character recognition software.

This revolutionised document management within healthcare organisations. Since then, they have continually developed Docman and release updates to their 200,000 users every six months.

Every day, secondary-care providers send thousands of letters to GPs using Docman Hub. The technology maintains detailed records and documents for over 40 million patients.

There’s a great working culture under MD Ric Thompson, including top-class training, nights out and company away days at places like Camp Hill in North Yorkshire, Alton Towers, Pontefract Races and Kenwood Hall in Sheffield.

Wellbeing
Wellbeing
Managers spend time with their teams, walk the floor, carry out one-to-ones, shadow, and ask questions to determine energy levels. Regular rewards and incentives help, such as handing out high-street vouchers and ordering pizza. Team members are multiskilled and can help colleagues when busy.
My Team
My Team
Two company-wide conferences have included food and entertainment. The year-end conference was held at a cinema last year and the firm held a company-wide bowling competition. Eight random teams brought some colleagues together for the first time.
