About Powertecnique

What is it like to work for Powertecnique

Their managing director does his utmost to engage with staff at all levels in a friendly manner. He's not afraid of being the butt of a joke & their regularly published internal newsletter (PowerNews) often leads with a terrible picture of Darren.

The best example is their 'Commitment to Education & Training' award which they won at the South Coast Business Awards! A panel of judges reviewed the spend & initiatives Powertecnique have commited to over the past 10 years & found them to be exemplary in how staff should be trained & educated.   A large part of this has been driven by the success of their apprenticeship scheme & their graduate recruitment program. Powertecnique are passionate about helping young people achieve their potential & they believe that their award recognises this. The company are also currently shortlisted for a training award with the 'Made in South East' business awards & they hope to hear positive news from them within the next few weeks.

Since their last engagement survey Powertecnique have implemented a dress down Friday policy to allow staff a more casual day in the office. This has improved morale without negatively affecting productivity. A win win! They are also currently in the process of investigating improved private health & pension offerings for their staff.  A company wide pay review is also due to be commenced as pay was raised as a concern from the latest survey.
