About ProClinical

ProClinical provide permanent, contract and executive-search staffing solutions exclusively to companies within the life-sciences industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical-device and clinical-research organisations.

Established in 2005 by Daniel Smart and Richard Thomas as a specialist recruitment agency in regulatory affairs and medical affairs, the London firm now has nearly 200 staff and offices in the US, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland and China.

Clients include leading global brands and smaller emerging companies within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, clinical research and other areas within life sciences.

ProClinical comprise of specialist teams to provide greater understanding of roles. Teams include Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, Quality Assurance and Drug Safety.

The firm offers an Employee of the Month award open to everyone and voted for by the whole company. The winner receives a trophy and a Selfridges voucher, with the positive comments about them and other nominees sent out to the whole firm.

Interactive training throughout careers involves theory, role plays, teamwork, one-to-one coaching and real-time run-throughs. Consultants present to others regularly and there’s a compulsory knowledge exam on the pharmaceutical industry. Software called ‘Refract’ allows people to set live challenges for overseas consultants.
