About Quill

Quill are a leading supplier of practice-management software and outsourced services to the legal industry. In addition, they offer outsourced payroll and booking services to all sectors.

Manchester-based Quill started in 1978 as a handful of entrepreneurs selling programmable calculators. Nowadays, they’re a 90-strong team spread across four regional offices led by Managing Director Julian Bryan.

The firm’s software evolved to a fully integrated legal-accounts and practice-management solution with optional modules for document management and anti-money laundering. It’s won multiple awards and boasts a user base of 5,000 solicitors and paralegals within some 600 law firms.

On top of that, Quill’s SRA Accounts Rules-proficient outsourced cashiering division has evolved over a 15-year period to its current status as the largest outsourcing bureau in the UK.

The firm has a performance bonus in spring and autumn, length-of-service awards and rewards for new business leads. There’s a thank-you drink on Friday at 4.30pm.
