Renaissance work in partnership with Skills for Care, Business Link, Train to Gain, the local council and local training providers to access free funding for training. These organisations help Renaissance to secure some funded places for NVQ training which can lead to a professional qualification in the Health and Social Care field. The company is able to fund courses that are relevant to the business needs.
Renaissance Personnel operates flexible working patterns to enable employees to strike a fair balance between work life and social life. There are free annual medical checks for all employees, free health assessments for Night Workers and staff are allowed time off to attend sponsored walks or the London Marathon. All staff are offered free basic healthcare which comprise of vital signs checks. If there is anything unusual, they are referred to their own GP. The employees are encouraged to take regular exercise which does not only have to be about paying gym membership.
Renaissance encourages staff to be innovative and to come up with new ways of working no matter how small they may appear. They have a suggestion box in their office and they also have drop in session every Friday whereby staff can come to the office to give feedback on any issues and they take the time to listen to any improvement ideas they may put across. Any ideas that are given, will be further scrutinised with management and if anything is carried forward, the idea originator or innovator will be recognised.
