Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is a registered provider of social housing, following a stock transfer in March 2012. It owns and manages over 13,000 homes in the Rochdale area and employs over 560 people, 73% of whom live in the borough.
By working together, RBH provide better places for their members, tenants and employees to live and work. Drawing on the area's rich co-operative heritage, their unique model places members at the heart of decision-making, allowing everyone to enjoy a sense of security and belonging in places that they make great together.
RBH aim to be a modern mutual society which delivers services that meet the needs of their customers and is a rewarding place to work. They are committed to engaging with colleagues to develop a culture which supports the ethos of a member owned organisation.
Engagement with all colleagues is vital to ensuring that everyone at RBH feels that they are valued and have a 'voice' in terms of how they deliver their services, and the policies and procedures that they develop to ensure a committed and motivated environment exists for all teams.
Values are at the heart of the business (equity, democracy, pioneering, open & honest, championing, caring, responsibility); and they are working hard to ensure colleagues understand how to utilise these values to contribute to the success of the organisation.
