The Royal Pharmaceutical Society have a Management Academy which is a development programme for new managers, which consists of 10 interactive modules to ensure they have the tools they need to manage people most effectively. They have also launched a leadership development programme for their rising stars that have been identified through their talent management programme to ensure they have the skills and confidence to be future leaders.

My Team
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society hold an annual all staff conference which brings all employees together from all across the country. They facilitate sessions to ensure that everyone talks to people that they don't normally work with to increase social interaction and communication within the organisation. This year they will be facilitating a "world café" style workshop to encourage this further. Their social committee organise a number of social events throughout the year to bring people together such as charity quizzes and sports days. They are also planning team development sessions within departments to encourage open and honest communication and feedback, to enable high performing teams. They have quarterly team meetings to update on what's going on in different teams and celebrate successes.

Giving Something Back
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society have just set up a Charities and local partnerships group so that they can support charities within their local area. Their social committee have also organised charity quiz nights, bake sales and sports days. They organised an appeal to send clothes and bedding to Syrian refugees and took part in a sponsored race for a homeless charity.
