My Team
The company have community teams in each of its offices. The purpose of the Community Team is to give team members who have a passion for volunteering / philanthropy an opportunity to lead these types of initiatives. Community Teams also serve as a centralised point to communicate with the Culture group on charitable activities. Anyone can be in the Community Team and it gives everyone in the company the chance to take part in extra curricular activities. The community events double up as team building events or a chance for every employee to socialise with other people in the company that they might not necessarily interact with daily. Past events have included sanding and re-varnishing benches at a care home, baking cakes and raising money for Macmillan, Christmas Jumper day, bring in old clothes to donate to refugees from Syria. The company also volunteer at a local homeless shelter every Thursday, serving breakfast.
