Salvation Army Housing Association (SAHA) is a leading provider of residential centres, foyers, supported accommodation, and move-on housing for single and homeless people in UK.
The focus within SAHA is upon 'Transforming Lives' and creating opportunities for residents. As a housing association they create quality homes for residents to live independently and make their own choices in life.
Where support is needed to assist people, SAHA seek to create an environment where there is purpose, activity, choice and self determination. Their approach to the services they provide is also underpinned by their desire to celebrate the positive in people's lives.
They are also assisted by their parent, The Salvation Army, whose extensive range of complimentary services are invaluable and without whom they would not be able to truly 'transform lives'.
Their ambition of 'transforming lives' is accompanied with a set of core principles, to which each employee embeds into their every day work, and to which SAHA looks for in new recruits.
In total SAHA has five core principles: Servant Leadership; Passion; Inclusion; Respect; and Effectiveness.
