Sandicliffe are fully committed to ensuring that all employees are given an appraisal annually plus 121s. Managers and supervisors have been put through training on 121s, appraisals and coaching for improved performance via the Management Development Programme. Managers are reminded of the Company deadline as it approaches and are asked to confirm the dates booked for reviews to their Operations Manager, as it is more likely to happen if it’s in the diary. The Group HR Manager monitors the returns and reports are given at these meetings. The Key Tasks and Objectives Summary for the year ahead are included in the review forms and covers future plans/focus on year ahead and aims, aspirations or plans for year ahead for the employee. Employees are asked to prepare for the meeting by completing their own form, so that they can give their own thoughts on how the year has gone, where they see themselves and are given a chance to say what they think about where they are headed.
