In August, Memex Technology Ltd organised a Family Day. This was held at a local racecourse. Transport was organised from two points, enabling their employees and their families to travel together and get to know each other. The day’s activities included races and activities for children and adults, face-painting and a photo booth. The catering included a hog roast, and ice cream cart and drinks. The day was a great success, with many relationships being strengthened and friendships being formed.

Apart from the more established ways of rewarding employees such as salary increases, bonus payments, public recognition and promotion all of which Memex Technology Ltd do, they also organise events following the awarding of new contracts. They recently won a very large contract and they rewarded their employees by holding a social event. This event kicked off in the late afternoon with a champagne reception. They then bussed all employees to Glasgow city centre for drinks and dinner.
