About Seafish

Seafish work with industry stakeholders across the full supply chain, from fishermen and processors to importers, retailers and food service providers to promote consumption, enhance reputation and inform decisions.

The organisation’s mission is to support a profitable, sustainable and socially responsible future for the seafood industry through its values of: Accountable, Driven, Expert, Collaborative, Integrity, Innovative.

Seafish also aim to be a great place to work, and encourage staff to live and breathe these values in all the work they carry out.

Chief Executive Marcus Coleman joined Seafish in 2016. Marcus enjoys an open and accessible relationship with all employees. He does not have his own office and prefers to sit in the open-plan office environment.

He enjoys hearing about births, marriages, house moves, and sporting achievements and will look to highlight these during the quarterly all-staff gatherings.

What is it like to work for Seafish

CEO Marcus Coleman is not a great supporter of hierarchy and will engage staff at all levels of the organisation regardless of their ‘rank’. He will also write blogs and send emails to staff members in order to promote communication.
Seafish run a number of health campaigns internally, supporting both mental and physical health for its employees. During Healthy Eating Week, jugs of iced fruit-infused water were made for all members of staff to enjoy, while they were encouraged to eat five pieces of fruit per day.
