This year, taking on board feedback from employees, the senior management team agreed the introduction of a voluntary benefits scheme. "Seymour Rewards" offers all team members exclusive discounts and cashback deals on thousands of high street and on-line retailers. The take up of this scheme was very high within the first 2 weeks of launch and has been consistently used since then, creating a buzz amongst many staff.

Seymour House operates a recognition award scheme which recognises and rewards excellence, notable consistency, outstanding effort, commitment, contribution and achievement of team members. There are 3 categories for which an award can be given. 1. Receive a written compliment from a parent making specific reference to an individual team member. 2. Achieved 100% attendance record for the previous term. 3. Awarded the manager's recommendation. One team member nominated per term. At the end of each term the recipient of each award will receive a recognition award badge for the term, a letter of commendation and a certificate. Their name will be placed on the organisation intranet noticeboard and on the team noticeboard in the location. At the end of each term the recipient of each award will be entered in a draw and one name from each of the 3 categories is selected at random. Those team members drawn at random receive a financial bonus. Upon receiving the award for all three categories, team members will receive the Seymour House Recognition Award pin which they may keep and wear on the lapel of their shirt. Due to their limited contact with parents, part time nursery practitioners and lunch assistants may receive the recognition award pin upon receiving the recognition award for categories 2 and 3.
