About Shopper Media Group

Shopper Media Group (SMG) are a marketing agency that provide shopper marketing services to brands and retailers.

SMG began life in 2008, by two guys who were working out of a spare bedroom. Both of them had a pretty clear vision about what they wanted to achieve and how they wanted to do it.

When people join SMG, they have the opportunity to work with one of the most exciting growth companies in the UK today. They will be supported by brilliant people, dedicated managers and a truly inspiring and committed leadership. SMG is truly a place for those that want to accelerate their career and get involved in new projects and experiences.

As they have grown, SMG have continued to provide a 20% performance related bonus (based on their base salary) to all employees, regardless of whether they are in a revenue driven role. This helps the organisation work together to achieve their targets and ensures that they reward people for their efforts and hard work throughout the year.

SMG introduced an additional benefit to the company in 2018, which allows people to apply for a deposit loan to help secure their next rental property. They know fees can be high and difficult to find the funds for, so SMG want to support employees when they are embarking on a new chapter in their personal lives.

What is it like to work for Shopper Media Group

Leaders are incredibly present across all offices. They work in an open plan space, and the Managing Directors make sure they follow suit and hot-desk, allowing them to spend time with people across the business and be involved in the day-to-day of agency life.

SMG focus on three aspects of growth: Build Yourself, Build Your Team and Build the Business. Through their 2-day management programme (run bi-annually), they take soon-to-be managers, or current managers, through a series of sessions that focuses on those aforementioned areas.
