Smoothwall are specialist developers of web filtering, monitoring and safeguarding solutions used around the globe in the public and private sectors, and are dedicated to providing the tools required to keep vulnerable users safe online.

They are known for pioneering the development of real-time, content-aware web filtering, and have also launched monitoring and safeguarding solutions that cater to the needs of challenging markets, such as education, healthcare and enterprise.

Smoothwall have operating bases in Leeds in the UK and Charlotte in the US, with partners in more than 60 countries around the globe. Their dedication to future-proof solutions and meaningful technological advances is matched by their commitment to building an enjoyable and engaging working environment for their team.

Former Tesla Director Georg Ell became Smoothwall’s Chief Executive Officer in 2018, and now leads a team of more than 150 employees across their UK and US offices.
