The Society for Endocrinology is the UK home of endocrinology. They bring together the global endocrine community to share ideas and advance their discipline.
As a membership organisation, they support scientists, clinicians and nurses who work with hormones throughout their careers. They also engage policy-makers, journalists, patients and the public with hormone science to encourage informed health decisions, and to demonstrate the value of endocrinology to the wider world.
Bioscientifica is wholly owned by the Society for Endocrinology and they apply this firsthand knowledge of societies to advance the diverse biomedical communities they work with. Bioscientifica exists to support biomedicine. Through their expertise in publishing, events and association management the organisation strengthen's biomedical communities to advance science and health.
The Society was established in the 1940's and has gradually increased in size from a handful of academics to a team of over 80 people. The Society take's into account the individual. Feedback and internal communication is key to them and the way they work.
