About Southern Housing Group

Southern Housing Group is one of the largest housing associations in southern England with 28,000 homes for over 72,000 people and offer a range of services to their customer communities such as: employment and financial advice; apprenticeship schemes with partner working; and grants to their customer communities so they can benefit from projects they want to accomplish.

Employees believe that the group is a great place to work because of the organisation's fundamental purpose and role 'to provide quality homes and develop communities where we house'.

The wellbeing of employees is of high importance to Southern Housing Group. Their wellbeing approach is holistic and supported by the senior leadership. They have an annual wellbeing calendar which outlines wellbeing initiatives and plans for the year. These have included annual free health checks for all staff, sessions on sleeping well, resilience workshops, reiki sessions and giveaways.

Southern Housing Group also have a dedicated email address for all things wellbeing, and a wellbeing group which meets regularly to plan and discuss further wellbeing initiatives and activities.
