About Stay Original Co

The Stay Original Company own a portfolio of five boutique hotels and inns around south-west England, serving locally sourced food and drink to a wide range of customers, including families, corporate guests and weekenders.

They bought and renovated their first property in Wedmore back in 2011 and have since added more sites in Somerton, Bradford on Avon, Shaftesbury and Dorchester, creating a chain of well-loved, award-winning pubs and hotels.

Founded by Rob Greacen, James Brooke-Webb and Pat Gill, the chain’s success has been based on building a vibrant, dynamic team, who specialise in buying and transforming neglected historic hotels and pubs in the south west and turning them into top-end establishments.

The company is expecting to double in size again over the next five years, and continue to focus on pursuing excellence in all aspects of their business as they look for more hotels and pubs in need of the ‘Stay Original’ treatment.
