Part of the global SUEZ group, SUEZ recycling and recovery UK employs over 5,000 people across 300 sites in the UK.

Established in the UK in 1988 and headquartered in Maidenhead, the recycling and resource management company serves over 12 million residents and 30,000 business customers, enabling them to reduce their impact on the environment by using waste to create new products or generate energy.

The firm’s aim is to live in a society where there is no more waste. To meet this objective, the company lives by the following core values: enthusiasm, excellence, creativity, responsibility, communication and collaboration.

Since 2008, the company’s UK operations have been led by Chief Executive Officer David Palmer-Jones, who has fostered an open-door policy where anyone can approach the senior management team at any time.

Giving Something Back

The SUEZ team in Leatherhead, Surrey, were instrumental in bringing the Ashstead WI's Remembrance Sunday tribute to life by providing over 1,000 washed and cut plastic bottles. The tribute project, called 'Reuse, Recycle, Remember', used the bottoms and lids of plastic bottles to create poppies.
