About Swan Housing

Swan Housing Association was first formed in 1994. Swan will celebrate its 25th Anniversary next year and continues to provide high-quality affordable homes to rent and buy. Today, Swan operates in East London and Essex and manages over 11,000 homes, with a secured development pipeline of over 6,500 homes to be delivered using both traditional and offsite construction by Swan’s in-house developer NU Living.

Swan’s mission is to “deliver effective services, enterprising solutions and exemplary homes and communities".

Swan is committed to being a great place to work. It holds Investors in People “Gold” status and has been ranked in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not for Profit Companies in the UK list for the last three years, thanks to the feedback of Swan's staff.

Swan’s chief executive hosts aroadshow where he travels to all offices in the organisationand discusses plans for the year ahead. Values form a key part of these discussions and Swan’s executive team are in charge ofrunning a corporate awards night that isentirely based on colleagues nominated peers who they feel live the company values.
