Swan and Nu Living have a mission to deliver effective services, enterprising solutions and exemplary homes and communities.
They were formed in 1994 and have recently celebrated 25 years of working within the community. Every penny that the Group make is reinvested in homes and services for residents. Today, they operate in East London and Essex and manage over 11,000 homes, with a secured development pipeline of over 8,000 homes to be delivered using both traditional and offsite construction by Swan's in-house developer NU living.
Swan's mission is to provide a comprehensive service, not just collect the rent. This means working hard to involve residents in a meaningful way.
Swan want to reward employees who really embrace the organisation's behaviours; those who have been observed or complimented by others as having behaved in a way that really makes a difference to how they are delivering.
The organisation has a scheme in place which allows colleagues to simply nominate people who they think are living their values. It does not require HR or senior leaders’ approval, if an employee is simply caught doing something in line with their behaviours, they are then rewarded with an Amazon voucher up to £50.
