The company’s journey began in the Yorkshire Dales, where Clive Sykes’ mother ran a small lettings agency for her own holiday cottages and those of friends. Clive soon saw that there was a demand for a top quality service to holidaymakers and owners, leading to the creation of the ‘mother and son’ team of Sykes Cottages.
Over 200,000 holidays are booked with Sykes Cottages every year and the company operates over 10,000 cottages across the UK.
