About Talbots Law

Established by Martyn Morgan, Talbots Law are a full service law firm based in the West Midlands that aims to do things differently.

The firm has the largest residential property team in the region, last year helping 8,000 customers move home. This put the company in the top ten law firms in the country.

Today, the company employ staff based across seven offices in Codsall, Dudley, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton.

Led by Mary Mocklow, Chief Executive, the company’s vision is to be the preferred legal services provider of choice in the West Midlands region and for their clients and employees to be proud of what they achieve.

Talbots have four core values that they hope will help them achieve this ambition: talk a language people understand, do the right thing - every time, bring passion to work, and dare to be different.

There is a dedicated email address that employees can use to send questions to Mary Mocklow, their Chief Executive Officer. Every quarter there are CEO meetings to ensure the whole business gets the opportunity to ask Mary any question they like.

Everyone is given their birthday off, and this perk is highlighted through a communications campaign telling everyone what their colleagues did on their birthday. This encourages people to take this day and to discuss why taking leave is good for business and not a blocker.
Giving Something Back

They have a relationship with Birmingham Children's Hospital, attending the hospital to learn about their work and encouraging staff to volunteer. A team of staff also cycled to Paris from Birmingham to raise money for the hospital.
