About The Alchemist

The Alchemist is a cocktail bar and restaurant that celebrates molecular mixology, alchemy and craftsmanship. Drinks are served in all manner of vessels with theatre and panache, with food served morning, noon and night.

The Alchemist has locations at 15 sites across the UK, including Manchester, Leeds, London, Birmingham and Cardiff, and has plans to open 5 new venues in the next 12 months, expanding their brand in London and Birmingham.

In May 2018, the company partnered with a not for profit charity that works to end local food poverty by running a ‘meal for a meal’ initiative. As part of the food menu, they have pledged to cover the cost of a hot, nutritious meal to a local person in need every time a guest orders the Duck Gyozas or the Keralan Curry.
In addition, they run a ‘Currency of Kindness’ initiative, employees sign up to a volunteering roster and in turn the company enables 450 hours per month paid volunteering with local charity partners chosen by the teams. Projects range from urban farms to homelessness support to environmental clean ups.
