About Babington Group

The Babington Group are a national provider of training and qualifications, helping people develop practical skills to get into jobs and to enhance their skills in work, meeting current and the future needs of businesses across the UK.

Founded in 1974, Babington is led by Chief Executive Officer Carole Carson, who joined the company as Chief Operating Officer in 2011. Babington has ten training centres that allow them to specialise in different subject areas, and become an integral part of local communities all over the country.

So far, they have worked with over 2,000 employers, from Boots to Experian, to introduce and nurture new talent.

Whenever a new starter joins the team at Babington, they are allocated a buddy who is their ‘go to’ person. New employees are contacted by their buddy before they start, who is complemented by a HR contact who provides pre-employment information, advice and guidance.
