The Cambridge Building Society is a mutual building society owned by its members, offering mortgages, savings and other related products through sales channels including their branch network, a telephone centre, online and intermediary channels.
Helmed by Chief Executive and Director Stephen Mitcham, the Cambridge Building Society has been in operation since 1850, providing funding for people to buy their own homes.
All team members have access to an Employee Assistance Programme when they begin employment with the company, and this is promoted during induction and throughout their time at The Cambridge Building Society. Managers are aware of this service and are amongst the first to signpost employees if they have any stress concerns.
Staff are enrolled into Medicash from their first day of employment, which gives them various allowances to spend on holistic therapies to help and support them. In addition, employees are given the option to have private health insurance after being employed for six months.
