About The Information Lab

The Information Lab help companies make sense of data using Tableau and Alteryx technologies. They offer training, consultancy and licensing services.

The business started in 2011 with the goal of making work fun. Having worked in corporates and startups alike, the founder saw the opportunity to make a difference with Tableau. They also wanted to remove the bureaucracy often found in similar organisations and provide a focus on innovation and idea creation.

To reward their team of hardworking individuals, 10% of The Information Lab's profits quarterly are split between the core team. The proportion received reflects how busy a team member's quarter has been and their longevity with the company.

This bonus has been well received since its inception. In addition to this, most employees are able to choose to attend one US and one UK based conference in one of their chosen technologies - these events are an opportunity for their people connect with other passionate individuals and their teams are always enthused afterwards.
