About The Pedder Group

The Pedder Group is a family owned and run estate agency and property services company. The group has a host of complementary operating companies serving different sectors within the property industry.

The Pedder Group was formed in South East London just over a decade ago following the acquisition of 5 loss-making offices from the Wates Group. From the outset, a main board was established to provide professional management and governance for the planned growth and diversification of the business.

They focus on the delivery of brilliant service through operational excellence; brand growth through effective marketing practices and maintaining brilliant human resources to create a successful, valued workforce.

Pedder endeavour to provide the best platform for talented, engaged staff members to grow their careers based on merit.

They are proud of the way in which they manage and support staff throughout their careers. Their approach to career planning is a total focus on the individual. They seek to manage, up-skill, develop, feedback and ultimately progress each individual in the most efficient, supportive way possible.

The methods they use to support this include: tutorship; mentorship; incentive schemes and finally, regular, supportive review processes to enable career progression.

Each manager has a monthly one-on-one session with a senior director in the business to discuss the performance of their office and its needs. The leader is kept up to date with any relevant developments allowing them to advise and support managers as and when they may need it.
