Penspen Ltd provide ‘How to Give Up’ literature on noticeboards, as well as providing information about ‘Stop Smoking’ services. The flexible benefits programme give staff access to a range of comprehensive Health Assessments that help them make more informed decisions about their lifestyle and general health. They also have an extensive stress management policy. As part of this policy, they are committed to monitor workloads and working hours so as to ensure that people are not overburdened. They are also committed to identify all workplace stressors and conduct risk assessments to eliminate or control them. This summer, employees were encouraged to participate in the fortnightly “Ramble and Roll” in Richmond Park which gave keen walkers and cyclists the opportunity to undertake a circular route of the park on pleasant summer evenings after work. They have an excellent flexitime system allowing for a healthy work life balance including regular early finishes if desired, as well as up to one day’s flexi leave per month.

Penspen Ltd say that the e-cards at Christmas are a great idea as they are both sustainable and a great way of freeing up additioanl funds for charity. They also encourage small enterprise giving, supporting charity bungee jumps etc. The weekly 'Ramble and Roll' through Richmond Park also requests a small charitable donation to be given in order to take part. A number of their employees help and support local fundraising activities via small group enterprise eg. by raising money for their nearest Elizabeth Fitzroy Home, which provides support for people with disabilities.
