The Rooflight Company have an effective sickness policy utilising compulsory return to work meetings following all sickness. Offices have natural daylight and ventilation and are a pleasant environment to work in. Free fruit is available throughout the week. Following yearly companywide eye tests, any glasses that are required for staff are paid for by the company and free flu jabs are available to all staff. They also support employees to quit smoking and have a cycle to work scheme to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Throughout the year, many Rooflight staff support charitable events such as Children in Need, The Nasio Trust and Nets for Malaria by organising events that are fun and raise money for the nominated charity. The company will match any funds raised by employees and also sponsor 14 children through their school years at an orphanage in Aligarh, India which they got to know through a relationship with one of their suppliers. They have an environmental policy including movement sensors so that lights are not left on, measuring power consumption, recycling of waste materials and the sustainable sourcing of food.

In addition to company-wide annual pay reviews, any employee who demonstrates a higher level of competency or takes on additional duties is recognised at that time. All staff have an opportunity to nominate another employee for 'over and above' contribution and if approved the employee receives £100 in gift vouchers of their choice.
