Wellbeing
Wellbeing
Within the past 12 months the company have introduced a number of initiatives to improve and enhance employee wellbeing - however the most effective of these has been the implementation of a gym within the building. They now have a fully functioning, air conditioned gym whereby all employees can (after an induction) utilise the equipment as and when they desire - resulting in employees saving money on their previous gym memberships, as well as being able to relieve tension within the day by using the gym at lunchtime for example. The company also offer monthly massage/reflexology which allows employees to relax and recharge within the working day; as well as ensuring they have a constant supply of fruit available and tissues and a non-alcohol antiseptic gel - all of which promote healthy minds and bodies.

My Team
To celebrate Stopgap's 18th birthday the company organised a team building company away day whereby they closed the office and organised a culinary themed day. The whole company met in central London and were briefed as to the specifics of the day - which involved being split into teams; an ingredient treasure hunt in an allocated specific foody area in London (e.g. Borough Market, Soho) where each team had to source the ingredients for an hors d'oeuvre that they had to create and then make later on in the day); arrive at the designated culinary school in Hoxton within the allotted time; before then creating a 3 course meal which would be eaten by everyone. The day was extremely enjoyable and lots of fun was had by all.
