Thorn Baker are a recruitment agency that supplies temporary and permanent staffing solutions to serve clients and candidates throughout the construction, industrial, engineering, facilities management, office and professional, sales and marketing sectors across the UK.

The company was started in 1988 and has offices in Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Leeds, Manchester, Leicester, Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and London.

They’re led by Chairman and founding director John Robinson, and Chief Executive Officer Paul Jackman who was promoted to his current position in May 2017.

Their intranet ‘Brian’ (The Best Recruitment Information & Advice Network) has enabled their teams across the UK to collaborate, communicate and share best practice. With seven offices across the country, they communicate via the intranet, sharing everything that's good about the business and cascading information to where it's needed. From department specific information, to the latest social activity, details of the latest person to join the company to marketing collateral.
