About Thrive Homes

Thrive Homes are a social housing association that provide good quality affordable homes to a wide range of customers from every background. They operate in some of the most expensive areas in Britain and aim to increase opportunities for people to secure safe, well-priced homes that allow them to build their lives.

Social responsibility is at the heart of what they do and the organisation exists beyond traditional landlord responsibilities; it aims to build communities. Employees are regularly rewarded for fulfilling the company’s values and for their performance as a whole, with thank you cards given to those who have delivered something of value to the business.

They run a community work stream called Thrive Give, which encourages staff to give their time, a voice, support and funds to good causes. All staff are allowed one working day to participate in volunteering activities and the impact of the scheme is measured against key objectives. Voluntary activities have included painting, decorating, clearing, digging and refurbishing at local community centres and projects.

What is it like to work for Thrive Homes

My Manager
My Manager
All managers agree to lead by example, communicate, work with their teams to build trust and encourage and support their teams in order to help them to develop. There is also a quarterly Sample and Sweep process that allows employees to give feedback on their managers.
Personal Growth
Personal Growth
All colleagues have undergone a key skills assessment review led by employees with their managers to identify learning and development needs for every staff member. Each person was given their own development plan to see the training that they will undertake for the next 12 months and this process will be repeated annually.
My Team
My Team
A company social network, Workplace, allows communication across all teams and was introduced following an extensive trial. It has already resulted in better communication across the organisation and people are encouraged to share discussions about their work and to better understand what their colleagues do.
